Title: Life Tables to Understand Differences in Survival of Populations

Abstract:

Ms. Ellison is a biologist investigating the effects of different treatments on the development and survival of an important agricultural pest. She will discuss how she is using life tables and their corresponding survival curve analysis to understand differences between populations.

Please come and support Ms. Ellison as she discusses this application of statistical methods to an important real-life problem.
