Biographical Statement: Anthony Forder, ME.d.

Tony Forder is the Learning Support teacher at Noosaville State School, situated on Queensland's Sunshine Coast in Australia. He has just completed a MEd with Queensland University of Technology. This paper is the major project for this degree. For some time now he has had an interest in Asperger's Syndrome as well as an abiding interest in computer technology, particularly in relation to helping children with learning disabilities. The results of this case study suggest that children with AS may well respond to support programmes which incorporate computer technology in order to drill social, interactive skills as well as providing these children with a non-judgemental and 'patient' ally in their on-going battle for acceptance and understanding.
